From June 18 to 23, 2025, CARIBIA proudly participated for the third time in VASSAR, one of Colombia’s most important fairs for entrepreneurship, design, and culture. The event took place at Parque El Country, in northern Bogotá, bringing together over 300 Colombian brands that represent high cultural, artisanal, and creative value.
VASSAR 2025: A Showcase for Conscious Fashion and Purposeful Design
Organized by the "Asociación de Emprendedores", Páramo Lab and Alina Vélez Comunicaciones, VASSAR has become a key platform that celebrates the best of Colombian entrepreneurship. Fashion, art, music, food, wellness, and sustainability all came together in a unique experience that highlighted the cultural richness of the country.
The 2025 edition featured a vibrant commercial area, live concerts, culinary experiences, kids’ activities, talks on sustainability and innovation, and open spaces where brands could engage directly with their communities.
CARIBIA’s Wayuu Art: Tradition, Identity, and Soulful Weaving
CARIBIA participated with a special collection of Wayuu mochilas handcrafted by Indigenous women from La Guajira, each one filled with history, symbolism, and a deep respect for ancestral tradition. Our booth overflowed with color and emotion, attracting visitors interested in conscious consumption and products that reflect authenticity and culture.
It was an invaluable opportunity to share our essence, connect with new customers, and continue building a community that values handmade, ethical, and meaningful creations.
A Commitment That Grows Stronger with Every Edition
This marked our third participation in VASSAR, and once again, we felt that our weavings, our roots, and our voices hold a meaningful place in Colombia’s cultural landscape. Seeing the work of our Wayuu artisans recognized and admired by so many inspires us to keep growing, always true to our mission of preserving the Indigenous art of the Colombian Caribbean.
